What I Do
I started my career in venture capital here at Cisco Investments. Rather than focus on a specific niche or industry, I work on investments and acquisitions broadly across Cisco’s key domain areas. Today, I look to invest in the best and brightest enterprise technology companies as they navigate their growth journeys.
What I’m Passionate About
I have always been passionate about partnering with people to help them realize their full potential. At Cisco, I get to put my passion into action by partnering with management teams as they build leading edge technology companies.
I love being a team player. During the day, I’m part of the Cisco Investments team. In the evenings, I’m coaching high school wrestling. In both settings, I love to see teammates pushing each other to become their best selves.
Spending time with my wife and daughter (and trying my best to make them laugh) is the best part of my day every day.
The Cisco Investments team is filled with smart and fun-loving individuals. They make each day fun and exciting. I had no idea investing could be so entertaining.

Where I’ve Been
I started my journey to Cisco as an analyst in the Technology Coverage Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. From there, I moved to a private equity firm, Cequel III, where I specialized in investment analysis, deal execution, and business development of portfolio companies. This valuable experience set me up for success with Cisco, where I’ve been ever since.
Where I Learned
I earned my BS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, while also winning a few wrestling matches along the way.
