Liz Archibald is Senior Manager of Executive and Internal Communications at Cisco. In this role, Liz is responsible for designing, developing and implementing a cohesive communications strategy for Corporate Development and Cisco Investments.
Since joining Cisco in 2010, Liz’s key accomplishments include directing both internal and external communications for C-suite and senior executives across multiple business areas, including Corporate Strategy, Engineering, Finance, Operations and Marketing. Most recently, she directed the strategy and communications plan for Cisco’s Chief Strategy Officer and the Corporate Strategy Office. Prior to this, she was responsible for all communications for the Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer, including engagement for the organization’s 25,000 employees. She has crafted the messaging and delivery for a variety of audiences, including organizational announcements, All Hands meetings, customer briefings and engagements, keynotes, social media, videos and blogs. She was honored with the Cisco Communications Services Bureau award for customer satisfaction, partnership and talent, and received the Cisco Sales Operations’ Golden Globe Award two consecutive quarters for communications excellence.
Prior to Cisco, Liz was Public and Analyst Relations Manager at Sony Computer Entertainment America, where she designed and drove a program that influenced top-tier analysts to serve as company advocates in the media. Additionally, she served as Senior Public Relations Manager, Corporate Communications, at Hewlett-Packard where she led all public relations activities for many of HP’s C-suite executives, corporate businesses and enterprise products.
Liz holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from San Jose State University.
