"Meeting a founder and seeing where they go with Cisco Investments as a partner is an incredible experience. I've seen a four-member team become a Unicorn in less than five years, which is very rare. Our team never ceases to amaze me!"
What I Do
If it has to do with Marketing at Cisco Investments, I’m probably involved. One of my main jobs is developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract the best and brightest startups in the world. I also help keep our brand modern, relevant, and aligned with Cisco’s values in today’s fast-paced, digitally dominant world.
What I’m Passionate About
I’m passionate about working with startup founders who invest in their people, have a clear vision of the future, and aren’t afraid to choose creativity over conformity.
There’s something magical about firing on all cylinders – about moving fast to get the job done right, even when it’s hard.
If Aronofsky, Fincher, and Tarantino had a baby, I would do everything in my power to clone it for the good of mankind.
You can call me Sore Thumb because there’s no fun in fitting in when you were born to stand out.
When I’m not working in the office, you might catch me at a comic book convention promoting my graphic novel.
I don’t always like Brad Pitt movies, but when I do, they’re never romantic comedies. #whatsinthebox?
Where I’ve Been
I joined Cisco’s Data and Analytics team after an acquisition back in 2015. After my stint on that team, I joined Cisco Investments in 2017 and continue to drive the organization's marketing efforts to this day.
Where I Learned
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from California State University, East Bay. The smaller classrooms and community-like vibe really enhanced my ability to learn and helped me form a creative foundation for the rest of my career.
