Kay Min
Sr. Director
Kay Min joined the Cisco Investments team in 2011 and is responsible for all of Cisco’s acquisitions and investments in Optics / Optical Networking and Silicon (semiconductors) which continue to display dramatic increases in speed and component integration, and Hardware and Systems. Kay also has the geographic responsibility for Canada. Her extensive experience in roles of increasing responsibility in the product development and product management sides of optical networking includes both large companies (Pirelli and Lucent Bell Labs) as well as startups, Photuris (co-founder) and Mahi. A transition into investment banking and venture capital investing further broadened her experience.
Kay earned an MBA degree from Georgetown University and a BS in ceramic engineering from Rutgers University.
